Abu Dhabi has taken a major leap in the digital transformation of its property market: the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC).
Today announced the rollout of the Digital Buy & Sell Journey, a government-endorsed platform that enables the entire property transaction process to be completed online. This initiative marks the emirate as the first in the region to allow buyers and sellers to execute real estate deals entirely through a secure digital interface.
The new system streamlines every step of a property sale or purchase under one unified platform. Users can complete tasks such as mortgage release, property registration, ADREC Trustee validation, digital contract signing, and escrow settlement all without physical paperwork or in-person visits.
This platform is integrated into TAMM, the Abu Dhabi government services portal, and uses UAE Pass for verified, tamper-proof digital signatures. Buyers and sellers located inside or outside the UAE can access the system, making it globally accessible and legally enforceable. Key features include video-enabled participation by ADREC Trustees, where officials can join remote validations, and escrow accounts managed directly by ADREC to safeguard financial flows.
